Concept Vision of Navrot - the EV Sports Kit Car
Currently, the EV market has plenty of everyday family mass production cars, but there is also a niche market with clients looking for cars that are unique and individualistic with a sporty character.
Navrot is a concept of a sports kit car for self-assembly created in partnership with the Investment Group JJ Invest from Poland.
Great for a weekend out-of-town road trip, a recreational race track day, and also convenient for everyday commuting. The body was designed on top of a modified lightweight donor frame with the electric motor located between the rear wheels. The two battery packs are located in the centre of the car.
The electric engine is located between the rear wheels. The lightweight tube frame construction and suspension are based on the Mazda RX-8 chassis and built with off-the-shelf, widely available parts.
The modern exterior design of the car was influenced and inspired by famous British automotive icons: Lotus 7 and Caterham 7.
“A very exciting electric kitcar project could still reach production if a partner can be found. It comes from the talented British-based, Polish designer, Zbigniew Dubiel and is called the Navrot, named after a famous Polish car designer called Cezary Nawrot who designed the Syrena Sport back in the late fifties.”
The project was featured on the February 2023 issue of the TKC Magazine - a renowned British kit car magazine website www.totalkkitcar.com
